Upcoming Service Opportunities

The Deacons are hard at work planning and offering opportunities for us to serve together. Making time to serve our community is a great way for us to build a stronger sense of community and togetherness, but also the perfect way to put our faith into action and to put the love of Jesus on display in our community. Take a look at the list below to discover how you can be involved. And even if you're not a regular part of the Faith Christian Fellowship community, you can still join us in supporting our neighbors and those with particular needs!

CONTRA COSTA INTERFAITH COALITION

Food Boxes

Help pack and deliver 30 food boxes on Saturday, May 16. Or if you are unable to join-in on the packing, you can donate financially. Each box costs $50 to fill - you can contribute as much or little as you'd like (or are able) to help cover the cost.

Furniture & Household Goods

Contra Costa Interfaith Coalition (CCIC) also supports local families through donations of various household goods and furniture. For smaller items you are welcome to drop them off in the Prayer Room. CCIC can pick-up larger furniture items, but you must contact them directly to arrange a time. Specific items CCIC families are looking for are:

  • Twin & queen size bedding

  • Towels (all kinds)

  • Small kitchen appliances (toasters, blenders, irons and ironing boards, etc)

  • Kitchen wares (dishes, cookware, silverware, etc)

  • Larger furniture items (kitchen tables & chairs, sofas under 7', recliners, lamps, etc)

WITHIN FAITH CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

Transportation & Rides

From time to time, members of our church family need help with various transportation needs for doctors appointments, Sunday Worship, and other things. We would love to put together a small team of people who are willing to help in this way. Let a Deacon know that you're available to help!

Landscaping

"Many hands make light work" Our campus belongs to all of us, and we all have a stake in how the community sees us. Giving time to care for and maintain our campus leads to a greater sense of ownership. Even though we have a large campus, it's relatively easy to take care of. And the more people who chip in, the easier it gets!

Building & Grounds

Want to take your love of landscaping up a notch? We are looking for someone to come alongside of and help Mike out in planning, scheduling, and overseeing various maintenance needs and facility up-keep. Talk to him to today for more information and to volunteer your help.
