This past Sunday (August 2) we took the big step of welcoming everyone back to public worship. Per county rules we gathered for worship on the patio under the redwood tree to sing songs and reflect on
Psalm 122 and what it means to do church. This was an exciting step for us in our long, slow journey to recovery after closing down on March 16. As expected, we were a small group just a little over 20.
Everyone was wearing a mask and social distancing, we had a few hiccups with the technology (sorry to everyone who was trying to watch from home!), but all-in-all it was good to be back together so many months apart.
We will continue to worship outside for the foreseeable future until our county lifts restrictions on indoor gatherings. As you feel comfortable, we invite you to bring a chair and join us in person. No matter what, we will continue to tweak and improve our livestream so that you can worship right along with us from home.
