Our Story

Faith Christian Fellowship began in the early 60's when a small group of families worshiping in Alameda began dreaming about a new church in the Walnut Creek area.  At that time, Walnut Creek was still a small East Bay town nestled among the natural walnut groves at the bast of Mount Diablo. These families envisioned a new faith community founded in the Calvinist tradition of the Christian Reformed Church, committed reaching and serving the growing towns of Walnut Creek, Concord, and Pleasant Hill. They purchased a few acres just north of the intersection of Treat Blvd & Bancroft Rd and went to work constructing our first building.  They adopted the name Walnut Creek Christian Reformed Church and began holding weekly worship services in what is now our Fellowship Center. Over the years the name was changed and many new families were added.  But through it all, our vision and heart for our neighbors and the many people and places we find ourselves has remained!
